Does that go into the back of the heater switch?

Did you get the big plug figured out?  I know under the dash is a nasty place to visit but I can lay on the floorboard and get my head up in there most times.  I'm kind of wiry so I may have an advantage there but mirrors and flashlights work as well.  When I worked in a place that installed aftermarket A/c a palm sized mirror with the light shoved up in there was pretty valuable at times trying to get a finger on a wire that got away from me.

And did you get the green and brown wires figured out on the sensors on the flange?  Looks like the two green go on the two side by side tabs and the brown wire with the black cap clips on the other single tab on top.

No idea on the wires under the hood. The white plug I believe is for cruise control and I don't have that.

I am very flexible, I just didn't know what was what. I needed someone to point me in the right direction so I didn't have to take apart the dash like I did.

I think the green wires will go onto the flange, but I have no clue where the other wires go.

So the multiplug wire is for cruise?  I can't remember exactly what the plug looked like for the instrument cluster I had out weeks ago.  Seemed like I had to squeeze a top and bottom keeper like the ones you are holding in that picture.  I needed to do some work on the trip keeper but found it to be broken beyond repair so I just lubed up the main Odometer to keep it from doing that 9/10 mile clicking thing and not giving me true mileage.

I would try that brown wire on the top of that flange with the green wires.  Most of the groupings on my VW are wrapped in black electric tape and that is what looks to be the same for what you have as well.

The orange cord coming up in the pic with the green wires kind of threw me for a bit.  Once I got the perspective right I was, oh yea trouble light.
