Isn't a purge valve a gasser thing? Activating when the charcoal canister needs purging? I try not to know too much about gassers.........
The "purge valve" is the 10 mm slot head bleed valve/screw on top of the fuel filter,
ive always thought the purge valve was one thing, and the bleeder screw was on top of the fuel filter, and completely different from a purge valve? because that bleeder screw does nothing, just lets you start the engine up with it cracked and then suck some fuel out of the filter so its not so messy..
The nicest thing about the vent line ending up by the engine is that you can put 3-5 psi of compressed air into the hose to bleed the fuel system of trapped air and get fuel to the IP w/o cranking the crap out of the motor.
