The trapezoid shape of the flanges will bolt up however AAZ manifold flange is at a slightly different angle with reference to the back of the head vs. 1.6TD manifold. Also the turbo itself may interfere with heatshields (depending how its clocked or where the wastegate sits, etc) and may not align properly with intake manifold and rubber connector. AAZ intake manifolds have a different port shape if you wanted to use that on the 1.6td head, may or may not bother you. Then you have to deal with oil supply and return.
