Smoked an Escalade
« on: August 11, 2010, 08:11:07 pm »
I was waiting at the light to turn onto the on-ramp and this black Escalade came bumping up next to me on its 30" rims. Dude took one look at my sh*t box and made sure to get into the other lane and try to pass me on the right. Needless to say I got on the smoke pedal and he tried to keep up, but his 3 ton beast couldn't hang with a 30 year old diesel econobox. Sad day for him.

I know it is no major accomplishment, but he did have a 5.7L V8, and this is the first time ever this car has beat anything. When I was running my NA motor I used to find myself leaning forward in the seat while I was on the on-ramp like I was riding my bike trying to get more aerodynamic or something.

I just had to share

Cheers,
Ryan
