A quick water hose query
« on: August 09, 2010, 05:22:53 am »
Ok i have a complete 1.9 aaz in my Mk2 Jetta that used to have a 1.6 td in it, i have noticed that when cold my heaters are cold, all good. when the car starts to warm up so do the heaters, until it gets to its static running temperature when the heaters run cold again.

I think i can se where the problem lies as the pipe coming from the bulk head to the main water pipe is bent and thus restricting the flow, The only problem it the connecting bit of hose and the main water pipe its self have no way of lining up propperly to the hose coming from the bulkhead, Has any one else had this trouble when fitting an aaz engine, and would any one know how to get round this problem easily,

I will try and get a picture if i can to help out seeing the problem if it helps!!!!!

The cutoff valve goes on the bottom hose

I used a reducer hose for fitment, you can trim the aaz hardline also...
