Air in fuel??
« on: July 12, 2010, 12:50:50 am »
Howdy, I just recently rebuilt my 2001 ALH TDI engine and it seems to me there is air getting in the fuel system somewhere. I've replaced the return and feed lines that go from the filter to the pump, replaced the check valve on top of the filter and it's still getting in someplace. I'm going to replace the filter this week to see if that helps. Timing is spot on, it has upgraded injectors. I know these are a PITA to completly get all the air out, but after running it for a while this weekend, it is no better.

Any ideas would be appreciated guys!
