I always lap valves using an electric drill, with the valve stem clamped in the drill chuck and pull back on the drill. Just go slowly and change direction often. Very easy and works great.

If you have an O2 sensor socket, it will have just enough space to let you get the valve keepers back on. I put mine back in using some grease on a screw driver to hold the keeper long enough to to insert it.
