Hey everyone,
I've got another TD engine that I'm going to turn into my "built" engine for the volvo.  The engine thats in it now is kinda tired, has lots of blow by, and the way I run it will be pooped by the end of the summer I'm sure.  Yes I'm building the D24T six, but its the same thing with a couple more cylinders so thats why I'm here.  I'm planning on using a NA cam (the D24 NA cam is supposed to be more lift/duration), port and polish the head, get the crank and flywheel balanced, balance the pistons and rods, and use arp rod bolts and head studs.  I've already got the big turbo, intercooler, GTD injectors, pump mods... etc.  I'm more interested in engine and or cylinder head mods that may help unlock more power.  Anything with the head or ports that I should do other than a general port and polish.  I know not to go too crazy with the exhuast, I'll just be port matching it to the manifold.  I'll also be doing the same with the intake.  I've been into vw diesels for a few years, and cant remember comming across anything else I should probably do, but any suggestions for ways to help it make more power would be appreciated.  The goal is to make 250ish to the wheels...

No one?  Just wondering if I may have missed something I should do to it.

Do not port exhaust port openings to match gasket, it´s too big. You´ll need serious pump mods, The Power is there.

I had heard the exhaust shouldn't be too crazy, though I didn't think just matching to the manifold would be too much.  (I know going to the gasket is too big as its bigger than the manifold opening).  I will have a built pump going on this engine, with a 12mm H&R and 2.8mm lift came plate.
