Less then 1 month Old Civic SI, 3 Drunk People, 1/4 km straight bridge with smooth pave, and someone trying to show off.
Car was estimated going 160KPH when it came off the bridge and hit a dip in the road, went air born, Clipped a car at a light, hit a curb and flipped over end for end 6 times. and landed on a Fence.
Thankfully No one was seriously injured

That's so lame, at least they didn't hit anyone bad though. Usually they kill some people and don't get hurt at all themselves.

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.
I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

well if the wreck wasn't enough to smarten him up, having to pay for that car will. I would hope his insurance company would laugh at that story and claim

The "hang out" in town is the parking lot at McDonalds. I was there tonight talking with a buddy and told him. The a guy we all know shows up and he yells over "HEY WHOS THE IDIOT THAT CAN'T DRIVE AND WRECKED THE SI?" His Passenger looks at us and lifts his hand
.
The fence they landed on is what saved the car from landing on the roof and crushing it in.

Come on, they have Tim Horton's up there, no use for a krispy kreme.
You shouldn't drink and drive because that out of control idiot could have run over some children before being horribly disfigured in a car fire in which all of his passengers die and live with the guilt of a few lives on his head. This was just a stupid car wreck in which no one was seriously injured if I understand correctly, who cares about a civic anyhow?

After 28 years in the fire service, I could amaze you (and sicken you) with what I've seen on car wrecks, fires, and national tragedies.
I hope they kissed that fence after they sobered up.
While I have no sympathy for drunks that kill themselves, luckily no one else were hurt or killed either in this escapade.
Many times, stupidity is job security.
Stay safe, stay well. Jimmy.
