Are gasser dipsticks the same? I need one bad and I don't see any diesel specific available!

I didn't know there were long and short. The car is a 91 Golf 1.6 TD engine code MF.

you have a long one :) I have a 91 ME block wit ha long tube, and my gf's 90 1.8 gasser is the same stick.

get a gasser dip stick and throw in there, i bet it will be easier than finding a specific diesel one.

I have an extra one to 4 :D Let me know if it is the one with the orange deal on the top. That is what I have many of.

there were 2 different ones with the orange deal on top. one style, that was identical to the gasser engines, and another style that had a small orange thing on top, but was way different from the gasser unit.
