If i can get a picture of the tailgate i could get it poster-ized and wallhang it.  :-*

Post us a few when you get it if you can.
If it is what it is and a strait 9 scale
250 plus shipping is fair trade i'd say.

be damm shame if it got handling damage
pad it with kryptonyte !

i was going to build a small crate for it, or hand deliver it.. that way i know its gonna be good to go. i know it can safely ride on the back seat of my gti and get no damage. i still have not taken possession of the said gate. need to go pick it up.

I'm still in for my 205.88 shipped bid.

But i don't think that meets the reserve and affords for it to be shipped safely across country. Unless GB wants to put it on his FedX tab for me ...   ;)

There will be someone sooner or later that needs a top quality gate. Most of the folks are more into their mechanicals on these things right now. Trucks have been coming out of the woodwork almost everywhere for the past 2 years. Seems like half of the VWDiesel groupers now owns a Truck.

The law of averages is on your side if you can secure it and wait on the right buyer to step up.

i will probably just end up hanging onto it for a while. cause i doubt you want to pay something like $100+ to get this gate shipped. really makes me mad i cant use it. i dont fit in caddys. there is not enough leg room or head room. if a caddy came with 2 door long doors instead of 4 door short doors, then i could probably fold myself up small enough to fit in a caddy. but as it sits now, i usually look thru the back windows, instead of the door windows, and thats in my 2 door cars. on 4 doors, i look thru the back door windows.

honestly, i would rather meet someone face to face and trade this gate for some cool parts i need. and that way, i get to meet the buyer, spec out their ride, and BS about VWs..

my dad is also gone for the summer, so it may find its way onto the wall in our shop. right next to all the CHEVY stuff.. ive been integrating vw emblems and parts into the shop for a little while now. my dad hates VW's.
