about 3 weeks for prothe to ship me the head.
it took 2 weeks each way and he sent me the wrong valves once, i returned them, he sent back the wrong ones again, returned them and then i finally got what i needed. That is what slowed my build time to a CRAWL way back when.

not sure. It almost seems like that... but it could also have to do with the fact that the items were traveling like .. 2,500km

Think fuel cost... In the 36 weeks I've driven my diesel conversion, it cost $1200 in fuel, my other car would have cost $3600.... and that's at yesterdays fuel prices. They are only going to go up. Don't you think the reaction to BP's mess will be $4.00 / gallon of cheap gas ? At the OEM I work at, we are banking on the cost of fuel going up....

Not to mention with the V6 you can't run free fuel ( WVO, WMO, W-ATF, etc) in your mix.

Stay with us,,, don't go to the dark side !!!   8)

Beside, I don't want to be the only one here running a Prothe 1.9TD head on my 1.6D.
