Hey guys...
As some know, my car is based on a peugeot XUD 1.9 IDI...and i am currently pushing it pretty hard for power, but the real limit all the time, seems to be my turbo, which I believe is holding me back big time...(it makes 30psi at 3krpm, but drops to 20psi by 4krpm, and so on, am I correct in thinking this?)
Now...The turbo I have, is a stock T2, with a t25 compressor wheel fitted, so im guessing this is quite a bit smaller than your stock turbos in some cases, as I read alot about you lot running t3's?
How much bigger is the t3 you run over the likes of what I have, and can anyone who has one, give me some idea of what boost it can hold through the range?
Does anyone know of any other vehicles with a similar spec t3 to what i need? Or are there any other turbos that might suit me better...brief spec includes a monster injector pump, custom cam, straight exhaust, fmic....) So im after plenty of air!
