Sway bar bushing applications
« on: April 18, 2010, 03:20:19 pm »
I'm looking for polyurethane sway bar bushings for a sway bar installation on my caddy. Are the bushings different from mkI, mkII, mkIII?

If I can't track them down what are good sources for oem? Are there any full kits with brackets, inner and outer bushings?

So I went to the junkyard to check different things out and it looks like the mk2 and 3 are similar but not to the mk1 setup. It does sort of look like the inside bushings on the mk2 are shaped very much like the outer bushings on the mk1, how similar I don't know because I didn't feel like dropping the subframe to get the stupid thing off.

So I guess I'm just looking for mk1 bushings, preferably a kit with brackets and everything. I'll keep looking and post what I find here.
