Hey guys. I know absolutely NOTHING about diesels but I figure if the top mileage cars on the market today are all turbo diesels then why not look into putting a diesel into a work van.
I don't need to pull insane amounts of stuff. What I need is awesome mileage with top speed of say 70 mph. The van will mostly be empty.
I am a special effects makeup artist and need a mobile studio. I can't spend the $125,000 for the super huge slide out side makeup trailers. I do low budget stuff. All I need is mirror on inside with lights, couple seats, and place to stick my airbrush kit and makeup.
The main reason i'm looking into this is because it gets 100 degrees down here in North Carolina and its hard to put makeup and fake blood on an actor that is sweating like crazy.
I'd like to be able to apply makeup while sitting in the work van with the a/c going. Let me know what my best options are for mileage. thanks
