WTB: jetta front bumper without license plate recess
« on: February 15, 2010, 11:42:53 am »
a bora tdi [jetta in the u.s.] it has been re mapped to 190bhp with uprated clutch kit as i killed it! im looking for the front bumper trim for the u.s. version without the licence plate recess but cant find one here in the u.k.!!

Looking for this for my friend, in the uk, anyone have a rundown on where I can get one???  I'm not even sure where I can get one, or even what it is that I'm looking for, I am a mk1 guy.

thanks,

Kevin

you know, decarbonated beer is a better coolant than the stuff you buy at the auto store, and is better for you...... really

If this is for a MK4 Jetta / Bora, I found the "Euro front rub strip" was the closest I could get to no plate recess.  I got mine here: http://www.performance-cafe.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_27&products_id=772  There is a slight indentation for a wide euro plate, but no ugly holes for mounting.
