Cold Compression
« on: November 12, 2005, 01:07:52 am »
Good day!

Firstly my car is a golf 4 tdi 2001, it has 68000km on the clock and is silver.

the car's turbo blew which caused all the oil to leak through the engine, in dew process caused the hydraulic lifters to be replaced. the fuel injectors also got replaced.

there is still a problem, the car is starting but you need to keep your foot on the accelerator else it will stall, it is idling at 400rpm when it should be between 800-1200, there is also white smoke coming out the back while it is cold. the diesel should be at 40F but it is running at 21F, does anyone know what causes this cold compression and how to fix it?
