I think it was already done before I "gassed" it..  I managed to get it started a couple times with the one remaining good gp with a crap load of cranking.. Then it got colder and that wouldn't do anymore.  I'm pretty sure the starter is nuked from excessive cranking.. I gave it ether the first time yesterday and nada..  Still didn't run half bad after I pulled it..  Trying to decide how I ultimately want to kill this engine..  I was thinking hit it with ether while it's running till she pops...

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Remove your hat while you kill it though........it put up a good fight :'(.
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

I vote some natural gas. I have heard that stuff does some crazy junk if too much is ingested...make it ingest too much :D

Indeed we shall bow our heads when it finally gives up.. It's been a good one..  Just didn't seem proper to yank it out and send it to the crusher without a good and proper finish..  Natural gas sounds like it could be fun.. Video will be plastered about when this happens..   Just one final thought, what if the damn thing won't blow apart??

Maybe start introducing another substance? Add some ether to the natural gas if it won't come undone.

or that nirtomethane ? Whatever it is that the top fuel guys run. Ingested into the intake may make it come apart in several peices.

I figured a bump is in order...been a month and a 1/2. Since then I am a TDI owner, mod, and my 1.6 has blown up. A real up and down kind of deal.
