Turning the vac can to a boost can was a major part of my device.
It works as a controler but it is basically a way to hook things up so a boost can will vork the vanes.
It's a device that can be controlled by any number of boost controllers.
Doesn't need to be connected to the accelerator lever but can be, or hold the vanes closed until it reaches a setpoint,
 even a variable setpoint.
or a click of a switch inside the cabin and the vanes don't close.
One thing about this setup on VNT is the smooth increase in power.
My Golf, with a stock turbo is weak down low and power comes on at 2000RPM.
With the VNT Rabbit. The power is always there, doesn't jump when you get to a point, just increases steadily with your foot pressure.
 No power surges or suprises.

Thanks a million for the input guys, certainly food for thought there, I hadn't acounted for a negative feedback loop type scenario where the accuator forces everything into meltdown. You have certainly saved me some trouble!
Mooving forward I shall now try the my setup with the boost accuator instead, still got the pump to sort as well. wish I had a heated garage!
