clutches
« on: December 06, 2009, 07:56:19 pm »
I am going to (at first) be using a lightly used stock clutch in my supercharged diesel because I am getting broke.

after I burn the clutch up(probably after a short time ;D) I will be upgrading to a clutchnet clutch.

I have driven unsprung clutches before in my old aircooled beetle, but I have never driven on a pucked clutch.

does anyone have experience with a four puck or six puck clutch?
how do they drive, and what would you recommend?

I plan on running the stock pressure plate and flywheel, if that makes any difference

thanks,

sprung 6 puck is the way to go, less chatter, more driveable.

I'll be running a spec stage 3, nexttime it's gonna be a southbend
