FS: 1992 Jetta EcoDiesel (now TD) - SOLD!
« on: November 30, 2009, 07:02:38 pm »
1992 Jetta Eco Diesel (really a full turbodiesel now).  ~214,000 miles.  A/C (works well), power steering, power brakes.   Factory radio (6 speakers).

More photos at http://s681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/Steverino68/92%20Jetta/.  Please take a look, read the description below, feel free to ask questions...

All listed work done in the past 1 ½ years:
Rebuilt 5 speed trans (020 AVX) .  New head gasket (head surfaced, etc).  New timing belt, tensioner, complete new VW water pump, all accessory belts.  New Bosch Duraterm glow plugs.  New engine mounts, shift linkage bushing kit.  Upgraded headlight wiring harness.  Boost gauge.  Added factory tachometer in place of clock.  Plug-in engine block heater. Rebuilt K14 turbo.

Performance injection pump by Giles @ Performance Diesel Injection (www.performancediesel.ca) 9mm head, governor, fuel curve, & advance mods, + rebuilt turbodiesel injectors

Frybrid veggie oil kit installed appx 1 year ago.  Heated aluminum oil tank & lines, filter & heat exchanger. Electronic control.  3 valves.  High quality, well engineered kit, works well.  www.frybrid.com

Very good body – only a bit of typical rust around windshield.  Very clean car overall.  I believe most of the paint is factory, with the possible exception of the hood / front fenders.  Not perfect by any means, but very presentable for a 16+ year old driver.  Upholstery and carpet in good shape.  No dash cracks. No rips/tears/stains. Passat steering wheel.  New HVAC fan. New amplified roof antenna.

Boge ProGas shocks, Neuspeed SofSport springs (have orig springs too).  New tie rod ends & alignment. Driven daily.

SOLD!

Thanks,

Steve

i need the money more than a drive ornament at the moment, so im considering selling the jetta.

Its about as mint a jetta as youre likely to find, and low as fook on corado uprated shocks and springs. needs headgasket doing, or perfect for a conversion.

no tax or test but its clean as a whistle

looking for the 350 it owes me peoples - pictures to follow later.

if your in germany, you probably arent going to have much luck selling that car on here. not much support from the germans here... kinda surprising, being that we are dealing with german cars.
