97 1.9 TDI Main and Rod Bolts
« on: January 23, 2010, 02:41:30 pm »
Hey guys I am getting ready to put the crank back in my TDI and I think that the bolts are stretch type, can any one confirm this? also if I switch to Studs on the Mains what should I go with?

Thanks,
Justin

The bolts are stretch type. And you don't really need studs. I'm not even sure you can get studs.  :-\
