• Anyone know how to reset the mileage on a 94 jetta speedometer? I put in a completely rebilt engine and tranny and want to start fresh on my mileage on the speedometer. The old ones (79-92) were easy to do but I am not sure how to do the new digital ones.

• To my knowledge A3Clusters on vwvortex is one of the few vendors left that still has the equipment required to reprogram A3 clusters.... somewhere around 100 bucks iirc.

• Is there some thing that can be bought for the average person to use with their computer or something to do the resets yourself so that you don't have to ship out your speedometer??

• you could just let it run to 300k it rests back to 0 at that point

  Nope... it's proprietary hardware... and pretty much designed *not* to let you adjust it...for obvious legal reasons.
