Looking for headlights for 1985 VW Jetta
« on: November 17, 2009, 06:41:41 am »
My adjusting screws are history and the one has no reflective stuff in the headlight bulb housing. The second headlight is good except for the sdjusting screws. Anybody know where I can pick up 1 or 2 headlights if the price is right? or just the adjusting screws? If it makes a differance, I have the Diesel Jetta.

fleabay has real ones and knockoffs, also craigslist has parts cars and local junkyards.

I've got a nice pair of original headlights. I went through them and fixed all the adjusting screws.

PM me if interested. I'm in Nashville, so shipping should be reasonable.

I would like to know as well. When I had the core support out I leaned on one of the headlights and snapped the srew straight through it.

The later MK2s had stainless adjusting screws.
Not sure when it started but my '91 had them.
... and I'm pretty sure the "aero"headlights fit on the earlier models.
