looking for shop experienced with 1.6l TD in Vancouver BC??

As title states, I need a shop with VW/1.6 TD experience and the special tools to check pump timing and perform valve check/adjust. Anyone know of a good one? How bout Adria imports, anyone have experience there? I'd rather not venture way out to the suburbs or pay $90/hr.

I'm in North Van and have been having a hard time finding a good diesel shop. I used to go to Beetle Spa, they were great, but now that Ivan (diesel mechanic) has left, I can't recommend them. Now I'm heading out to J.S. Performance in Abbottsford (Jose put a new engine in my Passat), but it is a real pain to do the traveling, would be way worse to be coming from Whistler! It is a real problem.

I hear that Tony (of Andes auto) is coming back sometime in spring. He used to be in Vancouver around Main and Great Northern Way. Don't know if you can wait that long.

Have you tried John at Van Wonder?  He knows his way around a diesel.

BD diesel is a diesel shop in abbotsford but they may only do trucks. they pop tested my injectors for free though
