Howdy all,

I just got my injectors back from Smog... recalibrated with GTD nozzles. What torque to I use when I put them in?

And also do yourself a favor... buy a Bentley manual.

Make sure the threads inside the head are cleaned out properly. The first time I changed out my injectors, I didn't make sure that the threads were cleaned properly, and I snapped the corner of the head off! I never even got to the torque spec. So becareful! 8)

Thanks everyone... yup I cleaned teh threads and replaced the heat sheilds.

Question... what sockets do you guy use? The 3rd injector (from teh flywheel) was impossible to get a socket around... the IP was too close. I had to use a wrench and bad language. In the futur, is there a special socket to do this?

i normally use a thin wall 1/2 drive socket with a 6 inch extension, i think its a 27mm. usually i have to put the socket on first before connecting the wratchet and extension.
