Hi all, I have not been on these forums for about 2 years since I last parted out a 95 jetta turbo diesel.
Monday I am getting a 97 jetta turbo diesel that I will be parting out.
It has about 253,000 kms,motor and trans run great.I have no idea if the crank pulley/bolt has been changed.
I will be keeping:hood,fenders,struts,spindles,front brakes,front drive axles,control arms,rear axle,rear brakes,tires,wheels,front bumper cover,headlites,starter.
Basically what will be available is:
-- the complete running motor and trans,including alternator,downpipe,instrument cluster,hoses,manifolds,etc-asking $650,or $550 without trans.Motor is still in car and can be heard running/test driven
--entire car can be had after I strip what I need,same price $650,I can also deliver within GTA area.I would prefer to sell the motor/trans/shell/interior together but I am flexible.I WILL NOT part out any bits from the engine,will only sell as a complete running unit.

Update: Picked up the car tonite.Runs like a champ.Previous owner has had the car since new,one owner vehicle.P.O. did not think the crank bolt/gear was changed but might have been done when the last timing belt was done at 185,000km.
Lots of good parts on this baby,will try to get a few pics up in a couple of days.
