WTB urgently AAZ transmission

Long story short, my tranny grenaded once again and the one I bought last week came with a monster crack in the bell housing courtesy of UPS.  Anybody have one or know of one?

where are you at? I know of one near my place for 150$ for the complete car

I'm in Calgary.  Can't really justify buying a whole parts car at the moment though.

I just took one off a motor I got with (if I remember correct) under 60k miles. I have the trans, and clutch I'm not using. from my reseach it looks to be out of a '95+ car.

I don't need the clutch, my current one is less than a year old.  how much would you want for the tranny?

I have no idea what they are worth. new to the vw's. I was going to keep it around but that would just lead to another project I don't have time for. Don't know what shipping would be, In in P.A. ,US

Sure you don't want a whole parts car? I've got one located in Regina SK with recent trans rebuild and a 5th gear swap which got the rev's down a little bit. Engine is like new too, just finally killed the fuel pump is all.
