Hello all been lurking for ages and decided to finally join up.  I have a 1985 golf that I have put a 90 GTD engine in.  I haven't had it on the road let but have a few questions.  First off it seems that the waste gate is stuck as I've tried to push it by hand but it is solid.  Next is my temp gauge doesn't work and the glow plugs always stay on for like two days.  Could this be the sensors mixed?  Finally, anybody have the p/n for the two different temp sensors?

As far as I know the sensors are the same for the gauge and the GP's. Try switching 'em and see what happens.

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Anybody know about the wastegate as it is getting close to running
