'79 rabbit parts car - SE ID

I've been getting several request for people buying JUST my diesel w/out the parts car... i'm not sure why, you could make back a few hundred bucks by selling parts but whatever. So this thread is to gauge interest in the parts and rolling shell.

I had another thread a while back but it's all cluttered and out of date so these are new pictures I took tonight with everything in it's current (june 17th '09) condition. I'll take pix of the shell tomorrow when it's light.

here is the photo album. I haven't labeled/priced anything yet, it's late, i'll do it in the am. sorry mod's, promise i'll do it quick!

ask away, make offers, lowballers encouraged  ;D

shipping is no problem so long as you pay for it

yes it's a pink blanket, that's why it's getting greasy, my wife took the pix, sorry if they're blurry.

Hi, Do you have an oil filter adapter plate that would go on a 80 Dasher diesel, the kind with the inlet fitting on top for the coiled oil line that goes to the vacuum pump?
Oh, and where are you?
Thanks,
Ron

I don't, sorry. The diesel is staying in tact and the gasser is getting parted out, so unless the gasser filter plate is what you're looking for, I got nothing. Sorry, these are the only two VW's I have.

What size pistons are those, standard?

I might make another nice parts order from you, to go with that head and such I got from you before.

yup, just stock parts as far as I know... I can do some measuring if you want to double check fitment. How's everything working out so far?

side note:
look what I did today  :P

Well, just wondering if they were oversize. I'm still slowly working, but keep getting sidelined by paying work. :p I have a coworker's Mk3 Golf that's getting a complete engine bay refreshing this week.

I found a place where I can get new gas pistons, but I'd really rather buy from someone private first. I need .020 oversized. The diesel block has standard 76.5mm pistons, so first oversize would work.
