I always did have a feeling that the metal was a cheaper grade to start with would affect how long the part lasts just by itself before anything else is degraded but I never tried any of the stuff.  In regards to the filter how many microns is the stock filter and would a 2 micron have the same affect on the engine as a restricted stock filter?

A proper 2 micron fuel filter will not restrict the flow any more then a stock filter. I forget what the stock filter is, around 10 microns maybe? Don't quote me though, I'm just going off a foggy memory.

www.ebay.de usually has a nice selection of pumps. How much boost are you running that you need a larger head?

It's not me that needes the bigger head, I think  it is Hamradio.  I'd like to find a K14 turbo myself.

Yeah, I'd like to throw a 10 or 11mm head on my pump to see what kind of shenanigans would ensue.

I'm running about 15 creeping to 20 in some occasions, and when I get an intercooler, probably about 22 psi.

If I swap to a t3 or vnt22, probably 25 psi.
