Calypso green (I think thats the colour)
Reman Motor from VW w/50k (have most receipts for the car)
Body has 370k on it (was originally a diesel car)
5spd mk3 tranny (grinds in 2nd until warm)
loads of power, always starts right up on the first crank.
surface rust but nothing major
original uncracked windshield
13" golf steelies
manual windows, mirrors and locks
heater core replaced recently
brand new exhaust from cat back
new front struts
cone filter
mk3 shift weight
missing passenger side rear wheel arch..(not exactly hard to come by)
interior isnt perfect but isnt by any means bad

Reliable solid daily driver, used to drive from hamilton to niagara falls every day for work...back in school now so cant afford to keep the insurance up for much longer

At the moment it needs balljoints and rear suspension but I'll replace the necessary parts before its sold.

Asking 1900 certified and e-tested, or $1500 as is FIRM

Cheap car. I drive a '92 with an AAZ (same colour even!), car has way too many miles. I'd snap yours up if I wasn't already converting a low mile gasser to AAZ.........

The as is price is $1500 and it needs balljoints, and the horn...the horn still kinda works, but it sounds like its had better days....possibly pads and rotors as well...but for less than $100 in parts it will pass safety

I'm in mid-Ohio, USA. I am very interested. Is it diesel? Or gas?

The title answers your question. AAZ is a 1.9 turbodiesel available from about '93 until '98. Good upgrade to what was available in the '91 car you're looking at.

To  the seller:
Have you tried Kijiji or craigslist? I'm amazed you still have this. Good luck with the sale!
