Happy with AAZ pump on TDI engine?
« on: August 08, 2009, 11:17:25 am »
Someone said on another forum that he has not hear from anyone who is happy with a AAZ pump on a TDI engine(MTDI) I'd like to hear from anyone who is happy and what you did to that pump to get there. There are alot of people who believe their opinions are fact. I try to get as much info before making a purchase or changing parts.

A 1.9td aaz pump without any modification won't work too well.

I am REALLY happy with my 1.9td aaz modified pump though!

average  4.76l/100km-> 51.8usMPG ( during the whole summer 70/30 highway/town driving 115km/h cruising)

Never really tried only highway but I bet it is around 4.3 @115km/h. I think it is better than an e-tdi.

For the performances, a 10mm head with .205 injector makes A3 tdi clutch slip.
Jetta 96, VG-mTDi/hybride td, 20psi, IC, 10mm camplate de tdi, .205 et CTN
