84 Jetta with a 1.6l TD, factory head replaced at 150k, last HG was at 230k
exhaust manifold gasket was replaced 1k miles ago it started leaking, head was left on because of lack of funds to do everything I would of wanted to do it properly so 7 of 8 studs on on the manifold are on(no noticeable leaks) couldn't tap 1 with the head on without fubbering it.
I am getting 2 front doors for it from a JY since the drivers is rusted out pretty bad and to make the car match (2 silver doors on blue car)
runs great gets me 38mpg doing 80mph running 100% WVO, does not use a noticeable amount of oil between changes 3k, however does smoke blueish on startup till warm. I do no heat my WVO so I think this is the culprit.
Car will come with its original 13" aluminum 2 good tires and 2 of them are bubbled (not recommened to drive very far on these) but bring 2 tires and go anywhere in the country.
Intake is a dodge 2.2l turbo intake stuffed into the VW one with a cone on the end (works fine and gets it some cooler air)
Has brand new alternator (put on this morning) and starter put on 3wks ago has lifetime warranty.
has side exit exhaust as the rear part rusted and I needed a quick fix (works fine and isn't loud so I left it)
shifter linkage is very shot, still goes in gear but takes alittle learning.
backseat padding is currently removed but I can return it to stock if I still have the pads laying around.
