Im looking for an auto tranny for my rabbit, its actually a 78 rabbit diesel, but Im going to be putting in a 1.8 gti motor, but with a carb and points distributor, I want it to be super simple under the hood, already have a line on a new engine, with the carb, intake, exhaust, and distributor, basically ready to drop in with a few mods....
just need an auto tranny,
I need the diesel engine out of my car for another project... and I need an automatic car for my wife... and not having to smog would be a slight bonus

If you are putting this autobox on a gasser you should get a gasser auto.

I know this is a diesel forum, but parts come and go all the time.... I had a 4x4 toyota pickup, but had some 2wd parts because the right deal came around and it included 2wd and universal parts....
