• I have a 86 cabriolet with what looks like a red led light in the  dash temp guage, I was wondering if anybody knows what controlls it , is there a seperate sender on the engine or is in the guage itself that turnes it on when the temp gets to high.

• The cluster has the circuitry that drives high temp light, and it's driven by the same coolant temperature sensor that drives the gauge.
