its a really long story, but the original reason i lost it was from posession of marijuana. then i got a couple driving while suspended tickets. i was just pretty much a dumb ass. the cops around here are bull***, so i just dont let them catch me. ive never gotten any charges or tickets for outrunning a cop, but i know i would get a felony if they ever get me pulled over.

Out running the cops is a common occurrence for you? I would never try and outrun a v6 supercharged... like there are under those crown vics. They aren't just crown victorias with fancy paint.

my buddy's dad is a cop and when i was in high school he'd take us around in the police minivan and it was supercharged... It would do burnouts that would read on the speedo at like 120km/hr... and this was a grand caravan... the cruisers are the same deal.

Catlin, i'm making a straight 3' exhaust this weekend. Once you get the exhaust exiting outwards rather than under the hand brake lever it's much quieter. I took my gf to a lake today that was about 100km of driving total and it's annoyingly loud inside the car. Even the turbo whine gets annoying if it's constant. A free flowing exhaust on our diesel's is actually "performance". some fella's have spent a decent amount of coin on a big straight exhaust. (I'd say a straight exhaust adds at least 10hp and 30ft/lbs.)

but what really bugs me is torque-y pulls in 4th that make a deafening BWWAAAAAAAAAWWW inside the car. I try to avoid that as much as possible.

Having that constant ringing in your ears would be so terrible. what a cruel form of torture I feel so sorry for you. My friend's ears rang for a month after getting in an accident from the air bags going off. He said it was the worst, most annoying affliction he'd ever suffered.

Dude, i wouldn't just brush it off, "oh looks like im gonna go partially deaf then. Haha it'll be awesome." Hearing is under rated.

In high school i made lots of potato guns, one of which shoots wine bottles and it's LOUD (louder than any gun i've shot).... i stopped shooting it without ear plugs after being 99% deafened for about 45 minutes from it once when the exit of the barrel was at the same height as my head.

the cop cars here dont have blown V6's here. our crown vics have 302 fuel injected natural aspirated engines. there is only 2 chargers, and one magnum, and they all have hemis. sure they all go fast in a straight line, but once you get on a road with some serious twists and turns.. they just eat soot.

and i know im gonna be screwed in the hearing department. my family owns an aluminum fabrication shop. and ive been exposed to it since i can remember. never used to wear hearing or eye protection. im just waiting for the day i get out of my truck and my ears dont quit ringin. im not looking forward to it by any means. but im definitely not going to take my stereo out, or turn it down. sub woofers actually help my back, swear to god. my back is horrible weak.
