Wiper problem
« on: March 11, 2009, 06:56:10 am »
I have a weird one...This morning coming to work (first time its ever happened, my wipers wouldn't turn off.
The only way to "reset" them is to stop the engine and take the key out. The wipers will turn off if set to intermitant, or any of the other settings and then off. But when I pull the lever for some wash they don't do their usual 3-4 wipes then off...they just stay on till I turn the car off and on again.
I usually keep a quart of oil in the right hand side of the rain tray...there is some room in there, enough for a rag and some oil...seems my bottle leaked a bit and im wondering if some oil seeped through the pump or something?

Any ideas?  :(
