Does anyone know who makes those gauges that light up like the new VW gauges?

Dan, McNally Electronics is who you're looking for.  Go here to look at their Boost/EGT combo gauge that is quite appealing.

'06 Golf TDI traded in for a '12 Jeep Rubicon (the Phatbox is available)
'91 Jetta TD, a work in progress (I'll do a build thread when I start in earnest)
'65 Notchback, a project not yet started

I just want a regular boost gauge.

I like their gauges but I'm not about to pay $100+ for a boost gauge.

I ordered some from prosport for my build.  http://prosportgauges.com/gauges.aspx  They had reasonable prices and they certainly look sharp.  I can't comment on the function, as I don't have them installed yet.

OE style/lighting gauges?

Wow, i never knew nice looking gauges were so expensive.

I'm thinking of taking mine apart (less the EGT and oil temp) and wiring in my own LED's all the same colour as the EGT and oil temp gauge.
And i'd do the dash while i'm at it i suppose.

My guages were so incredibly cheap compared to those i hope mine work...
all my gauges combined were less than one of those high end spiff looking ones.
a dash full of those would look awesome cody

(Edit: I paid in US dollars so i guess mine weren't THAT cheap... 55us for egt, 15 boost, 20 oil temp, and like 40-50 CAD for my tach IIRC)

I think you could pull off a super clean looking install that way eddie.  Your LED cluster turned out real well.  Are you thinking of doing the same clear on the gauges?

Edit: The prosport gauges I bought have a red needle.  The gauge face can be either white or green, depending on how you wire them.

Good folks.

Pricey, though. Their blue LED w/o perfect match are close to OEM blue, but not exact. Could really bug some, but I've gotten used to it over the years.

I like their gauges (VDO) BUT they don't have a double gauge for the Column.
That's the only place I have to mount gauges and I need 2 gauges.
E Gauges.com seems to have the best deal right now even adding the blue LED's it's like $130 ish for the 2 gauges, double column mount, Blue LED's and the senders/tubing required.
