you just have to be careful and balance your braking and accelerating, too much brake and the rear wheels will grab, stopping you in your tracks.
that is why I am installing a handbrake to actuate just the front wheels or just the rear, there are many times that I want to brake just one set of wheels, but not the other.
also the brake booster can get you in trouble, as it brakes more based on engine speed(with the vacuum pump our diesels have, or throttle position based like intake vacuum gassers) the amount of push on the pedal necessary may change as you accelerate.
(which is why I am eliminating the brake booster on my car, just don't like them for so many reasons)
The lsd in my 318ti makes sliding around corners really easy to do, but rwd+lsd makes handling in wet or icy conditions pretty terrible.
