New Turbo... Should I?

well, after some scrapping, found some numbers on the compressor housing. 84...  is this the AR?

is it too big? will it lag too much?

i“m also intercooling the engine, on order to keep it fresh, will this bring me trouble? the turbo td04h with fmic?

Well if the 84 is actualy the A/R of the compressor it is exactly twice as big as the stock Garrett I have from a 83 Jetta T/D {42}.  Garrett also stamped the A/R of the compressor right inside the compressor outlet also, at least back then.  I have a feeling that turbo is too big to be of much use but since you have it give it a try and let us know it turns out, that's how we all learn

yeah, i guess you are right...

just waiting fo the downpipe flange to be machined and when i assemble the thingamagig i“ll let you know...

already have a T3 just in case...
