Diesel injector sockets on the cheap........

found this socket set today while searching for some other project odds and ends..
I don't know if they work well on VW's?? but the descriptions says it does.. 8)
I will pick a set up next time I'm at HF and try it on the dub...

well I'm a tool whore so yeah that sounds good to me..I work on more then just VW's so I guess it makes a little more sense to/for me..
but on that same note if you have to mod a regular socket to fit you may spend more then $20 in your time just modding it...that is if your time is worth anything to you.
like I said some may be into trying them, some wont..but least the info is here 8)

I bought a $7.99 27mm socket at Advance and it works a charm.  :)

I got my harbor freight injector socket from them in the early 90's for about $7 at that time and I thought it was damn cheap then, now you're getting a bunch more for a still super price and I guarantee you will eventualy find a use for everyone of them, I've got lots of their tools and never had any prolem with any of them and they have all kinds of automotie tools you can't find easily without geting on the Snap-On Truck and we all know what that means :lol:
