For sale:
starter, fits an automatic tranny. It is out of a 2002 Jetta with 145,000 miles on it. It worked great when I did my swap and took it out.

these starters will also fit the 020 manual transmissions on earlier VW's .

$75.00 + shipping.

He really means 020. I remember a post about an auto TDI starter being bolt on on 020's.
