Anyone know where i can get hold of any pre-built FMIC boost pipes for my Golf GTD? id prefer not to have to make them myself seeing as im rubbish at that sort of thing, cheers in advance, Matt
those are aluminum and silicon kits are cheap enough on ebay, i dunno why anyone would use pvc

I'm sure that's the route I'll go when the time comes, thank's for pointing it out I'd still like to know if PVC would hold up though just out of curiosity even though I probably won't use it now with those ebay prices that low.

I think I would though be a little leary about the aftermarket ones with the plastic end caps on them.

I think I would though be a little leary about the aftermarket ones with the plastic end caps on them.I have a ebay intercooler and it's BEEFY...I would not worry with 50psi+ pumped through it...BTW the ebay coolers are fully welded aluminum construction..no plastic...I looked at junkyard intercoolers and when you compare the price of ebay with a crappy weird size Saab or Volvo or other intercooler you will see the Ebay intercooler cant be beat...from what I have seen I would rather have a ebay cooler over a STOCK GTD VW intercooler...my .02
