I was thinking, what about radiator hose. I'm gonna try and fit an intercooler at some point so I will have to do some research.

I used 2" silicone couple off ebay for a few quid each....

Rad hose is normally too small - I got a few IC hoses from a couple of peugeot 306s/406s - really long.
Cut up to make bend sections and then used alloy pipe between
Focus IC in front of rad
Bit tight round battery which had to be moved back 20mm

That's a real nice instalation there, looks like a perfect fit. Exactly what kind of car and intercooler is it? I'd like to find one to fit my 81 Rabbit as good as your's does, very nice job :wink:
