Does anyone have any tips on how to put the speedo cable back in the cluster once you've have the dash out?
I definately can't fit my hands in there to get to back in the slot and my gf with much smaller hands can't do it either...
anyone have any tips? I thought i had it but my speedo isn't reading after having the dash out.

I have decently sized hands (I think?) and I'm able to do it. To do it though, I have to push the cluster down a bit below the mounting brackets. Even then it isn't easy.
I broke the little clip that holds it the cable onto the cluster by accident one time. Now it never falls out and it makes it easier to put on/take off.
I wonder if you could disconnect the speedo cable from the tranny, then pull some extra slack into the cockpit.

I remove the lower kneebar and go at it from below. I have the bezel and cluster loose at this point.
If you want you can remove the other end of the cable (in the tranny) and then attach the other end, pull the cable back through and put it back in the tranny.

Taking it out of the tranny seems to be the easiest method?
Does it go in any specific way? because i know it's in the housing of the gauge but it doesn't read anything. I just figured it's not in all the way or something.
Should it click or anything?

I remove it from the trans then you can get lots of extra cable to work with, once snapped on the cluster you can push it back through the firewall and reattach it to the transmission.
I remove the knee bar as well, that helps allot.

2 bolts/screws on each end. Kinda behind the rubber weather striping.
You need to slide the center console back as well so remove what ever is holding yours in.
