I did not. however, I was aware of the tension that would be put on the lid when I lined up the bolt holes. I put the top on offset toward the stop solenoid and slid it against the pressure of the springs until it lined up the bolt holes and tightened it down. I screwed (lol) with the max fuel screw for about 45 minutes before I gave up. I think I tried everything to get to to work so that it would be drivable for a daily. I can imagine in a race application it would work out well but for a daily, I just didnt see it working out. I did get it to idle ok with limitied smoke, but I had to VERY slowly let off the pedal until I wasnt touching it anymroe and it was idling. It revved up nicely, more fuel than I could possibly use with the current turbo.
Head gasket from the AAZ is still working on mech head, so my fingers are crossed.
