UK supplier for Bosio Nozzles, & pp520 or pp764 for 110t
« on: November 17, 2008, 07:15:24 pm »
Hi guys,

Bosio don't return my emails, the one time they did they said a) out of stock and b) allard in the UK did them.  Allard don't return my emails....

So anyone have a reliable source for me (I'm trade) who can supply me Bosio's?

Also most info seems to relate to USA spec, the UK spec 110tdi is the cars I'll be fitting to, I'm guessing as stock no chip just EGR delete/well maintained that I'll be looking at PP764 - or is that too much?  I haven't found anywhere with power/torque gains for the 110tdi either.  Needs to be minimal smoke setup.

Any help/thoughts appreciated,
Greg.

Nope.  But Kerma was very helpful shipping them to the UK for me, they should arrive soon.

I am on the other side of the pond and have dealt with Kertmtdi several times. I am running aN ALH 1.9 and am using the pp520's. On the Kerma site they state that they are the same size as the 110HP injectors used in Europe. MY ALH is running the pp520's, the 11mm injector pump, hybrid turbo, lift pump, EGR delete, Kerma tune and 2.5" straight exhaust. The last dyno it was turning 153 HP at the wheels.

The next injectors will be the pp502's or the race 502's. The current mods and tune produces very little smoke.

Wow that's a lot to do to get that HP, I guess you have more to come.  A chip on a 110tdi here gets near that sort of level.

I went for the PP764's so hopefully that will be a good increase without smoke on the otherwise stock (lift pump and EGR delete aside) 110tdi.

Not got them in yet as I have to do a head rebuild for him first, but it's getting ripped down on Monday!

LOL Greg

I agree with you on the low HP output!  I am debating installing the 3bar
sensor and raising my boos levels.  Currently I am running a very conservative 20-21 PSI boost. Trying to get another 200K miles out of the engine. The upside is my torque is 2X the HP. The stage 3 clutch holds fine, but I am worried about the differential and axles currently.

I'm sure it goes extremely quick as it is.  A stock 140hp pd is very quick car, feels a lot harder on acceleration than the 180hp 1.8T in the mid range.  If you can get yours touching 170hp that's well withing the breaking point of the internals and you will have matched the most powerful production 2.016v Audi engines, only with more torque and better economy.

I'm sure a touch more boost and the 502's will get you up there, it's only another 17hp or so.

Greg.
