I was on my way to get some fuel and the car started chugging a bit, i made it to the station and put 20 litters in it, I left and it was running fine, about 10 minutes later it started doing the same thing again and died. If i live it sit she'll start up and idle for a few minutes then she quits...10 minutes later it starts up again and does it all over again...I always fuel up at the same station so i don't know whats going on with it...
Just me but I would try a fuel filter. Maybe even start running some anti gel stuff in your fuel. It is around 10 degrees up on my hill with the windchill.
it was running fine, the motor was warm and it started with no problem, but i did notice that once the weather started getting colder my starter started acting up...Its getting too cold to try working on it now, my MVI is done at the end of Feb...I just don't know what to do whit this car anymore...even with good GP's it has a hard time starting at -2...and it gets down to -40C here...Any Good suggestions on a rebuild...Maybe the fuel pump went???
Fuel filter or the pickup screen in the tank is where I would start
I am still thinking that it is your fuel. I had a problem with my 81 doing the exact same thing. Wait and it would start, but if I ran it it would go for awhile and then die. Try the fuel filter and run some anti gel in it and see. Unless you have replaced the filter recently I would at least try it. It is cheap.
