doing my nightly commute to pick up my gf from work, found myself in a double right turning lane up the front, a mid 90's v-tec civic next to me, very low and with fart can in place - no doubt making a gazzillion hp.
its a long wait at this set of lights, and i had Pink Floyd up loud, windows down, minding my own business, clatter clatter clattering waiting. as the light goes orange he is predicting the light and gives it a little rev rev... so i just thought i'd let him know what the real deal was - just before light goes green, i wind it up to about 2800 to get the turbo going, then dump it on the green -
top of first before i was even around the corner, chirp second and ease off at 70 when he's 4 car lengths behind me - i have to slow down right away and turn left into a side street, and as he goes past he slams the loud pedal and lets out a big long FARRRT to signal his anger.
made me laugh!
